The South Downs National Park Authority is currently extending the Centurion Way from Milk Halt to Littlewood with a further extension to join up with the South Downs Way, planned for 2026/27. Eventually, their aim is to reach Cocking. Full details can be found at southdowns.gov.uk – FAQ section. There are no plans to open up any of the three tunnels on this section. Railway Ramblers will give updates on progress as and when they arrive, with the intention of organising a walk covering the new extension when open. (Chris Witt; RR)
