An open invitation from RR Area Coordinator Bob Prigg to join a long distance walk project kicking off on Mon 28 Feb 2022 on the Cross Britain Way from Boston in Lincs to Barmouth in Gwynedd.
Its a 280 mile coast to coast walk with other RR members. Multi day ventures spread over the next couple of years that wherever we pass close to an abandoned railway we will endeavour to visit and where possible walk some of it by way of circular outings. These particular walls will be published on the website accordingly.
The last walk of the project will be spent walking the old Ruabon to Barmouth route from Dolgellau along the Mawddach Estuary. This will hopefully take pace in about two years time.
The first section we are walking will take place over two days with an overnight stay in Boston. Public transport will be utilised throughout the project wherever possible.
